BetaNews | AT&T to Expand IPTV Service

[Betanews.com] Senior vice president Lee Ann Champion told the Wall Street Journal on Friday that service would be launched next in Austin. That would be followed by additional launches in the third quarter in all of AT&T's regions, including the West, Southwest, Midwest and East Coast.

[Interactive TV] Telecommunications giant AT&T is reported to be spending $4.6 billion to provide television over broadband in up to 20 American markets by the end of 2006, reaching up to 19 million homes in over 40 markets by the end of 2008.

AT&T Plans Satellite Broadband, WiMAX
