For those of you that dont know the Venice Project is the latest venture from the founders of Skype and has been a stealth mode TV over the internet project for some months now. They are rumoured to have employed hundreds of people, principally in New York, but also in many other geographies. If you are a regular reader of this blog you will know that I have more than a passing interest in this space, so Im curious to understand the significance of this venture.

Paris to get the largest fiber network in Europe

48% of Consumers Would Never Purchase a Movie Online for Download

Movie downloads, both legal and illegal, remain the least watched genre of online video on the Internet, where short-form content such as sports and news clips is watched by nearly 7 in 10 of those that watch Internet video.
