On the other hand, the Fiber-to-the-Node (FTTN) architecture selected by AT&T will not deliver sufficient bandwidth to accommodate the interactive multimedia and High Definition services required to compete with rival Multi-Service Operator (MSO) and satellite networks.

China's Jiangsu Province sees IPTV subs rise 471%

IPTV News[IPTV News] At the end of last year, Hangzhou City was named as having the most IPTV subscribers of any region in China with 250,000, while Shanghai Municipality had 240,000 users and Henan Province ranked third with 200,000 users. Jiangsu Province by comparison ranked just ninth at the time with 35,000, far below the top five regions, according to an earlier report from Lmtw.
