 [Cedmagazine.com] ip capsule: My inference is that AT&T and Telecom Italia (and France Telecom) are more concerned with exactly what they say they're concerned with: making sure that once they have their IPTV systems up, running, and expanding, there will be a wide selection of consumer products available to their customers that will work they way they're supposed to work, even if a subscriber moves from France to Italy to the U.S. Yes, there's an IPTV vendor ecosystem, but it's still pretty small. Growing it will be beneficial for all.

I'm sure people back in 1995 would be cheering this technological breakthrough, but who really faxes anymore?
