IPTVision > Netgear Introduces Digital Media Adapter with Support for Intel Viiv

[The Glowria IPTV Blog] Networking products maker Netgear on Monday introduced a digital media adapter that supports Intel's Viiv technology for connecting PCs with home entertainment systems. The $269 Netgear Digital Entertainer (EVA700) lets consumers stream digital media content, applications and services from PCs, USB devices and the Internet via a home network to televisions and home entertainment systems.

Argüelles A.: After a some wasted time debugging and troubleshutting, I found out that the problem was not asterisk nor openpbx, my cheap natter/router/vpn netgear firewall FVX338 was changing all the outgoing and incoming sip packages, the web admin configuration doesn’t have anything about this, so I had to contact tech support… that was, for my surprise, quite nice actually, it all took 4 days, not bad taking in consideration that it was for free and I don’t have any support contract with them.
